Lakeview Facts

Lakeview is one of the Chicago’s most inhabitable areas. Lakeview residents enjoy the appeal and magnificence of tree-lined streets and Lake Michigan. It is just moments from the hub of downtown Chicago, a short drive on Lake Shore Drive. Many activities take place right in Lakeview, such as boating, jogging, volleyball, golfing, skating, biking, tennis, fishing and more. This area has public golf courses, tennis courts, bike paths, and jogging trails. Wrigley Field is a major attraction to this neighborhood as well. You will also find a variety of sports bars, restaurants, small theaters, intimate concert venues, galleries and nightclubs. Lakeview also offers some of the most diverse shopping in the city, on Southport, Broadway, Clark and Diversey.

Lakeview’s Real Estate

High-rises with one and two bedroom units overlook the lake and vintage condominiums, Victorian greystones and apartments lie just west.

The area around Wrigley Field, known as Wrigleyville, consists of rehabbed Victorian greystones, two- and three-flat buildings and condominiums.
